After a thrilling first round of the Scottish Student Volleyball Cup, we welcome the remaining 8 teams to battle out for the women’s and men’s final spots. Teams to be announced following the first round fixtures.

SS Volleyball are delighted to once again host the highlight of the domestic women’s student volleyball season which is fast approaching – the Women’s Volleyball Cup! This provides the opportunity for clubs to lock horns to decide the top women’s student volleyball team in Scotland.

The Men’s First Round will take place at the University of Dundee on Sunday 7th February 2027. The Semi-finals will take place at the University of Dundee on Sunday 14th February 2027.

The Cup Final fixture date is TBC.

SS Volleyball Cup Entries 2026-27

Venue: Dundee (Men) & Stirling (Women) for First Round

Date: Sunday 31st January 2027 (Women) & Sunday 7th February 2027 (Men)

Cost: £90 per team (TBC)

Entries: Will open shortly

Team Entry Deadline: TBC

IA Approval Deadline: TBC

Eligibility: The Cups are open to currently matriculated students at Scottish institutions affiliated to SSS as per the SSS Event Terms and Conditions

Time: 0900-1730 (Registration opens at 0900)

Format: To be confirmed once final entries have been received.

Payment: All payments will be invoiced to your Sports Union, with invoices being circulated following the entry deadline.

SS Volleyball are delighted to host the regional, recreational 4v4 Events in semester 2 of 2025-26!

These are 4-a-side fun tournaments for new club members and those learning the game – a great chance to enjoy some volleyball competition in friendly, small-sided games.

SS Volleyball 4v4 Entries Semester Two

Venue: Regional

Date: 27^th January 2027

Cost: £6 per team

Entries: To open in late 2026

Team Entry Deadline: 12:00 on 25^th January 2027

Eligibility: Tournaments are open to currently matriculated students at Scottish institutions as per our Terms and Conditions

Format: A draw will be created once entries close, as each region will have a separate event. Please see below the provisional semester two dates:

• 4v4 Tournament (Grampian)            27/01/2026       RGU                                   1000-1300
• 4v4 Tournament (West)                   27/01/2026       Strathclyde                         1400-1700
• 4v4 Tournament (East)                    27/01/2026       Edinburgh (Pleasance)      1400-1700
• 4v4 Tournament (Tayside and Fife)   27/01/2026       Dundee                              1400-1700

Teams: Teams of 4 should be mixed (with at least one male/one female in each team of 4). Teams can have up to two additional subs

Team Maximums: There is space for 12 teams in each of the regional events, so make sure you sign up now and don’t miss out!

Cost: £6 per team. Entries close at least 2 days before each event is due to start

Payment: All teams will be invoiced following entries closing.

On The Day Registration: Teams should arrive no later than 15mins before the event start time

Officials: This is a fun tournament, so teams will self-officiate their matches
