SS Volleyball are delighted to host the 15th Student Beach Volleyball Championships! This provides the opportunity for student clubs to face off and see who will claim the Beach Volleyball Cup.
The Cup Final will take place at Portabello Beach, Edinburgh, on Saturday 17th May 2025

Entry deadline: 1600, Friday 2nd May
There will be a men’s and women’s championship event. In addition, a mixed 4-a-side tournament will take place providing a great chance to get club members involved in the beach game.
A maximum of 16 teams will be allowed in men’s and women’s championships. All institutions will initially be allowed to enter one team. If the entry limit of 16 teams is not reached, further teams will be allowed to enter. Please therefore list your teams below in order of preference/ranking (1 to 3, with 1 being the highest ranked). Team 1 is guaranteed entry and the entry status of teams 2 and 3 will be confirmed following the entry deadline of, 1600 on 2nd May 2025.
Pre-event information: To be distributed ahead of the event
Payment:Invoices will be distributed to Sports Unions on behalf of teams following the entry closing date.
Eligibility: Teams from SSS-affiliated Scottish universities and colleges are eligible to enter as per our Terms and Conditions.

SS Volleyball are delighted to once again host the highlight of the domestic men’s and women’s student calendar – the Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Cup! This provides the opportunity for clubs to lock horns to decide the top student volleyball team in Scotland.
The Cup Final will take place at Scottish Volleyball’s Cup Finals Weekend, on Friday 18th April 2025

SS Volleyball are delighted to host the regional, recreational 4v4 Events in semester 2 of 2024-25! These are 4-a-side fun tournaments for new club members and those learning the game – a great chance to enjoy some volleyball competition in friendly, small-sided games!
Eligibility: Tournaments are open to currently matriculated students at Scottish institutions as per our Terms and Conditions on a first-come, first-served basis
Format: A draw will be created once entries close, as each region will have a separate event:
Teams: Teams of 4 should be mixed (with at least one male/one female in each team of 4). Teams can have up to two additional subs
Team Maximums: There is space for 12 teams in each of the regional events, so make sure you sign up now and don’t miss out!
Cost: £6 per team. Entries close at least 2 days before each event is due to start
Payment: You will be able to pay by card on this system. If you wish to request support from your Sports Union to cover the cost of your attendance, please click ‘Defer Payment’ and this will send them an invoice request. PLEASE NOTE – you should talk to your Sports Union about financial support BEFORE you sign-up to this event
On The Day Registration: Teams should arrive no later than 15mins before the event start time
Officials: This is a fun tournament, so teams will self-officiate their matches
