Vice Chair & Communications Officer | Scottish Student Archery

Two exciting opportunities arisen to join Scottish Student Archery as their new Vice Chair (Competitions) and Communications Officer ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Scottish Student Archery Development Group is responsible for the creation and delivery of student archery. It consists of representatives of the membership, Scottish Archery and Scottish Student Sport and its purpose is to determine the needs of the Student Archery Membership and provide valuable opportunities.

Vice Chair (Competitions)

SS Archery Vice Chair is responsible to support the delivery of the Scottish Student Archery Calendar. This involves working with Scottish Archery and Scottish Student Sport to determine and deliver appropriate development opportunities for students, as well as to support the running of SS Archery Competitions.

This role provides the opportunity to shape the future of Student Archery as part of the SS Archery Development Group.

Communications Officer

As the Communications Officer your main responsibility will be to support the Archery Chair and SSS by publicising the sport and its activity (e.g. posting on social media channels).

In general, you will also be there to help and support all competitions and events organised by the Group, and assist their Chair where required.
