Scottish Hockey & SSS work together to grow the game:

SSS are delighted to announce a new partnership agreement with Scottish Hockey that sets out how both organisations will work together to develop student hockey. Working in parallel with the Reset, Build and Excel vision of Scottish Hockey the plan will run up to the creation of Scottish Hockey’s new strategic plan. Thereafter a new multi-year partnership will be developed.

The plan will focus on enhancing links between the governing body and student clubs and supporting coaches & officials whilst exploring new methods to encourage participation in student hockey. During 21/22 there were around 2500 members of student hockey clubs, with the new plan and Scottish Hockey’s vision moving forward we are confident that this number will grow.

Niamh Barrie has recently been appointed as the new chair of SS Hockey which will provide additional vigour to the development of the game.
