Our Student Research Group brings together students and researchers to explore the questions and challenges that matter to Scottish student sport. Guided by our SSS Student Research Advisory Group, who provide strategic and practical guidance to support the delivery of the Student Research Group, the group aims to provide student research opportunities which are relevant, applied and beneficial to both the education and sports sector.
The group creates opportunities for students to contribute to student focused research, share their perspectives and connect their academic work with real-world challenges across the sector. By linking student research with the priorities of SSS and our members, we can support work that is both academically valuable, leads to real world experience and practically useful outputs for all.
The group also helps us build stronger connections between the student sport sector and the academic community, creating opportunities to share knowledge, develop new ideas and ensure the student voice remains central to our understanding of the sector.
