Could you be the new Scottish Athletics Digital Content Creator? Applications are open for this 20 hour p/w role.

Scottish Athletics are looking for a motivated, proactive Digital Content Creator and Marketing Officer who is passionate about the importance of sport, committed to continuously evolving marketing and communication approaches, and developing themselves.

You will have experience of creating inspiring content for different audiences and an understanding of social media platforms, core demographics and trends. Working successfully across teams and with the ATS Young People’s Forum is an important part of this role, and therefore you will be an excellent communicator and skilled in building effective relationships.

You will have practical experience of working with different social media platforms and websites, developing and editing video content as well as teaching the Forum members how to use social media effectively.

With a forward-thinking, hard-working and creative approach, you will bring self-discipline and enthusiasm to the role using your skills and experience to innovate and create marketing and digital communications aimed at our younger members.

The Role

The Digital Content Creator and Marketing Officer is a funded post through the Young Start Award from The National Lottery Community Fund and is a key role for scottishathletics, working with the ATS Young People’s Forum to enhance content, bring an innovative approach
to scottishathletics marketing and digital communications, and support engagement with our younger membership and key stakeholders.

Working with the ATS Young People’s Forum, the role will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative digital content that supports the aims of the Forum via social media and other marketing material.

The role is for 20 hours per week with a salary of £28,860 pro rata. This is a three year fixed term contract.

Join Scottish Rugby’s Rugby Development department, supporting the domestic game through this new Competitions role.

Are you passionate about sport, organisation and delivering competitions in a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants? Scottish Rugby have an exciting opportunity for a Competitions and Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the organisation and delivery of competitions across the East area.

What you will be doing:

  • Planning and organising regional competitions – supporting the implementation of all East regional competitions and finals, working in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Coordinating the day-to-day competition operations to deliver a positive experience for all stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships – you will be the key contact for clubs and schools within your region, maintaining effective comms and providing solutions throughout the season
  • Monitoring compliance and reporting, ensuring that policies and competition regulations are followed

They are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of coordinating and organising events or sporting competitions
  • Strong communication skills, capable of building effective relationships
  • Excellent IT skills, including analysing and reporting data
  • Passion for sports, ideally with a knowledge of rugby and competition formats

The role is full time with a salary of £25k per annum.
