Active Campus Network

What is the Active Campus Network?

Launched in 2023, the Active Campus Network is a collaboration between sportscotland, Colleges Scotland, and Scottish Student Sport. It’s aim: to increase the provision of sport and active wellbeing in colleges across Scotland.

Since its launch last year, there are now 18 Active Campus Coordinators (ACC’s) in place on campuses stretching from the Borders to Inverness. They are supported by staff from sportscotland and SSS in helping college students access sport and active wellbeing opportunities.

The programme was given a boost in October 2024 when the First Minister announced a further £1.45 million for the Network – ensuring our ACC’s will be in place until at least 2027.
