scottishathletics Inter District Cross Country Championships 2026 (External)

We are privileged to compete at the scottishathletics Inter District Cross Country Championships once again in 2026 as Scottish Student Sport, with the event returning to Alexandra Park, Glasgow.

We will have 15 men’s and 15 women’s student athletes competing on behalf of all Scottish students at the event – please stay tuned as the squads are announced.

The first 12 places on each squad are gained through automatic qualification, as the top 12 placing students at our SS Cross Country Championships in November. The additional 3 spaces providing ‘wildcard’ opportunities for students. Our full selection policy can be found HERE.

Nominations for wildcard entries into our SS National Squad Team are now open by completing the nomination form HERE.
